Jennie is a teacher aide at our school and helps in room 6. She is a great help around the school.

Students of the Week for weeks 9 and 10 of term 3.

 Kyle has been working hard all term and has thoroughly deserved this recognition for his efforts. Keep up the great work next term too.

Terry has been a revelation this term. Not only did he plan and present an excellent speech, but he gave a great impersonation of Elvis during room 6's dance item. Keep taking those risks, Terry.

Sports Activator

On Monday 9th of June  the sports activator came to Lawrence area school to teach us some hockey skills. First of all we practised our Indian dribbling. At the end of the period we had a game of hockey. We each had our own number and when our number was called out we ran out onto the field and tried to score. Everyone enjoyed the sports activator.

Camp Queenstown

Last week Rm 6 went to Camp Queenstown. 

My favourite things on Camp were biking and luging.My least favourite thing on Camp was diary time. The most challenging thing on camp was the hike because I'm not used to going on long walks.
