Term 1 2014
The best thing I did in Term 1 was Technology because we are making clocks. But we haven't finished them yet.

My favourite subject in Term 1 was food tech because it was fun and interesting and afterwards we got to eat all the food. My favourite thing we made was the Easter chocolate muffins.

Term 1 has been a good term. Our favourite subject at school is cooking and P.E. We cannot wait for the first week of term 2 because that's when we go to Queenstown for camp.

My best thing in term 1 was making our name frames. I like mine because it is colourful and effective. It took me a while to make it but I think it was worth it in the end. When we publish some of our work we sometimes put it within the border of the name frame for display.

The best thing I did in Term One was go on the Forensic Science group trip where we went to an Anatomy Museam, Pathology Museam and the Police station. The Police station visit was the highlight of my day, where we were locked in a holding cell for a minute. We had a tour of the place. It was quite amazing. - Jessica

The best thing I did in term 1 was Friday sport because I'm good at sport, I find it fun! Funny and exciting.

My favourite thing I did in term 1 was technology because we got to make our clocks but we aren't finished them. Mr Watson said we will finish them in term 2 when we get back from camp.

Term 1 has been great! I now do food technology and Friday sport, I also got into South Otago Athletics and came 5th in 200m ,100m and 800.

Term one was a successful term for me. I qualified for South Otago Primary Schools Atheletics also the school swimming sports I got 5th in backstroke and 3rd in flutter board.

The best thing I did In term 1 was technology because we get to make clocks this year and we can get as creative as we want, but we have still got to build things before the hands for the clocks come.

Our favourite moment in term 1 2014 was going to sopsa (south otago primary schools athletics). Jakes results were: 1st in 200m, 2nd in longjump and highjump and 3rd in 100m. Jaxons results were: 2nd in 800m and 3rd in longjump. We also went to the otago swimming champs in Dunedin.

The best thing I did in term one was the swimming sports in the Lawrence pool and I got some really good placings.

The best thing I did in term 1 was going to the SOPSA (south otago primary school athletics) in Balclutha. The best part was that I got a place in everything I went in.

My favourite part of Term 1 was being selected for the Forensic Science Group. My favourite part of this was when we went on a special trip to Dunedin. We went to the Pathology Museum, the Anatomy Museum and the Police Station, it was a very exciting trip.

Term 1 is nearly finished and Room 6 has had a busy term. The students are already looking forward to Term 2 and have been busy studying and preparing for their Queenstown Camp first week back next term!!
